You want to make a bowl but you don't have a lathe ?! Here is a way to make it. 

I wanted to make my own bowl but I don't have any lathe so here is how I made it

Needed materials :

• Wood board

 Matériels :

• A scroll saw
• A drill
• A belt sander
• A multitool like a Dremel to sand

Etapes : 

• Define the dimensions of your project. Here the base of the bowl is about 10cm of diameter and each tier the cicle is enlarged of 1,5cm.
• Drill at 30° on the circle line.
• Cut with the scroll saw at 30°.
• Small test without assembly in order to check that everything is ok
• Assembly with the wood glue (without the base in order to sand easily the inside. 
• Sand the inside with the Dremel.
• Glue the base.
• Sand the outside of the bowl bith the belt sander
• Finishing and varnishing

Using this way I observed that this can also apply to create lampshade and all kind of hollow objetcs.
