It's time to do your pizza \ cheese plate yourself...

Want to create your own plate here is a way to achieve it...  

Needed materials: 

• A piece of wood of 40 * 40 * 1,8 cm
• Varnish \ Oil
• Wood filler

Needed tools: 

• A router able to use a compass
• Router bits (straight bit, surface forming bit and a edge forming bit)
• Sander

Steps: 

In order to make a circle we draw it with a compass what we would obtain. Then we use the router in compass mode by adjusting the radius. We will make our circle with several router passes. While the router is in compass mode we change the radius size to a smaller one and we set the surface forming bit to create a kind of border inside the plate. 

Once we are done with the compass we remove it and we set the edge forming but. We pass around our circle base in order to create a rounded corner. 

Then we use the wood filler to hide the hole we did with the compass. 

Finally we just have to sand and to varnish our plate and it's done.
