Doing a small wooden car in order to go back to childhood...
This design (very basic) is made from two layers of pine (18mm) and a layer of plywood (8mm) that I put in between the pine to give a line effect on the middle of the car.
Needed tools :
- Drill
- 6mm wood bit (for headlights) and 8mm (to connect the wheels)
- 28mm hole saw (to make the wheels)
- A jigsaw (to make the car shapre)
- Wood glue (to put it all together)
- A sander
- A file (to remove burrs)
The next model or improvements will be the painting / varnishing and a better finish.
Here is the result for now :
